- Abstract
The article describes a protocol for the production of an implant-supported occlusally screwed bridge. A clinical case is presented in which a provisional bridge made of PMMA was left in the mouth for four months to ensure good osseointegration of the implants and sufficient tissue healing. The protocol requires a precise knowledge of the materials and strict compliance with regulations. Various steps are described, such as the creation of a plaster model, the fitting of an aesthetic model, and the production of the definitive bridge. The polishing of the bridge is crucial for periodontal integration and the longevity of the restoration. The article describes the successful implementation of aesthetic and prosthetic goals in the provisional stage. The authors, Louis Arnould and Louis Toussaint, are a dental technician and a dentist from France. The article was originally published in the QDRP journal.
