- Abstract
The article discusses a study which performed transcriptome-wide association study (TWAS) for the outcome of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) survival. Topics include reason that extracting biological insight from genome-wide association study (GWAS) is challenging, genes identified that were significant in TWAS analysis for both lung and whole body (WB), and validation analyses to explore the two significant TWAS genes further.
