- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of a study regarding the compensation policies of U.S. research institutions for research-related injuries. It notes the ethical obligation of institutions to give fair compensation to researchers who are injured while conducting their work. It identifies key changes in compensation policies through survey data published in 2000 by Efthimios Parasidis and the 2012 top 200 funded research institutions from the Center for Measuring University Performance.
