- Abstract
The article discusses the significance of foot assessments in diabetic patients as well as the treatment modes for peripheral arterial disease. It says that the peripheral arterial disease, caused by atherosclerosis, which results to foot ulcerations in diabetics. It says that the absence of pedal pulses indicates the presence of vascular disease. It adds that critical ischemia presents with various symptoms such as rest pain, foot injuries and gangrene.
