- Abstract
The article discusses research on best practices in the administration of Older Individuals who are Blind (OIB) Independent Living programs in the U.S. The study analyzed qualifications for service providers, program eligibility requirements, pace of service delivery and program evaluations among OIB programs. The survey examines the implications of OIB programs for administrative management, client-centered service, staff development and responsiveness to technology, resources and research.
