- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 75-day-old child with severe form of Pierre Robin sequence related to inability to lie supine. The child was frequently being nursed prone and had respiratory distress in three episodes requiring ventilator support within the first two months of birth. An adult distractor was successfully used in a modified way to help distract the paediatric mandible.
