- Abstract
E ngaging in argument from evidence is a core practice of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS Lead States, 2013). Thus, using the DiALoG system consists of more than just assigning scores-repeated use can refine what teachers look for during classroom arguments, and RMLs allow teachers to take action on the scores they assign.
