- Abstract
The article presents a biography of Science Education Recognition Award recipient William Ray Teeters. William Ray Teeters was born on a farm near Noblesville in Hamilton County, Indiana, March 1, 1887. Teeters' grade school education was received in a rural school near his home, Wayne Township District No. 2, Hamilton County, Indiana. He graduated from here in 1902 and attended Anderson High School, Anderson, Indiana, where he graduated in 1906. Teeters has been very active in church work and is an Elder in the Presbyterian Church. He began his teaching career on 1910, teaching mathematics.
