- Abstract
The article discusses research which examines the relationship of leaf protein profiling with photosynthetic parameters and phytochemical components under salinity conditions in medicinal herb Andrographis paniculata. Topics discussed include role of leaf proteins in improving photosynthetic parameters and phytochemical components, impact of salt stress on changes in the andrographolide content (AG) of the herb, and changes in osmotic composition of the plant with the salt acclimation.
