- Abstract
The article presents a study that investigates the mechanisms in the apoptosis of human HeLa cells due to 2,3-dehydrosilybin (DHS) treatment. It describes the method of the study which determines how DHS treatment can inhibit cell viability and induce apoptosis in the dose-dependent manner. It notes the result of the study which suggests that DHS-induced apoptosis is arbitrated by caspase-dependent pathway in human HeLa cells.
