- Abstract
In the paper presented is a new trend in dispersed power engineering, namely the micro heat and power plants (micro CHP) based on the principle of organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) with low boiling point substance as a working fluid. A criterion for adequate selection of the working fluid has been suggested. Some aspects of the economy of such micro CHP have also been discussed. It seems that in future such devices can be widely present in households and small enterprises.
