- Abstract
For modulation recognition of multiple amplitude and phase-shift keying(MAPSK) and multiple quadrature amplitude modulation(MQAM) signals in digital video broadcasting - satellite - second genera- tion(DVB-S2) standard,a recognition method based on high order cumulants is proposed. Firstly,the higher order cumulants and characteristics of 32QAM,16QAM,16APSK,32APSK signals are analyzed,and then using the higher order cumulants,the classification of signal characteristic parameters is extracted to i- dentify the modulation. The detailed process of the algorithm is provided,and the simulation analysis is giv- en. The results show that the algorithm has better signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) adaptability when the sam- ple size is larger,regardless of phase deviation. When the sample point of signal is 2 048 and the SNR is 10 dB,the algorithm can achieve a correct recognition rate of 96%,fully meeting the needs of the actual sys- tem for signal classification.
