- Abstract
The article presents a description of how the Family and School Partnership Program has evolved over the years to address the gaps in postmaster's training for school-based mental health professionals. The program was founded in Chicago, Illinois in 1996 by Ruth Fuerst and Bonnie Mervis. It was expanded to offer workshops during Saturday mornings and annual summer institutes. It featured two years in consultation groups and online sessions in solution-focused interventions.
