- Abstract
The author comments on alternative explanation built upon three sources such as behaviorist conception of memory as behavior, models of memory that exclude the short-term memory (STM) store, and emphasis on the role of expertise in memory. Topics discussed include cognitive psychology dominant theories of memory behavior; remembering things which is an active process; and the problem of understanding infants' deficient memory behavior.
