- Authors
Tursi, A.
- Abstract
The article discusses the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infections in a clinical setting. It notes that a quadruple therapy has been proposed after the failure of first-line therapy for eradicating Helicobacter pylori which was based on bacterial culture and reported to have a higher eradication rate. It states that a clarithromycin-based 7-day triple therapy was advised by the Maastricht IV guidelines despite its high resistance worldwide.
