The article discusses postinfectious glomerulonephritis (PIGN) has the major cause of pediatric acute glomerular disease. Topics include acute postinfectious glomerulonephritis associated with cutaneous leishmaniasis; and postinfectious glomerulonephritis, the differential diagnosis of a case with hematuria and low C3 levels includes C3 glomerulonephritis.
