The article focuses on the study of thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) that should be considered in the patient with a fall in urinary output, deterioration of renal function tests and thrombocytopenia. It mentions that thrombotic microangiopathies describe a group of diseases with anemia, thrombocytopenia, and acute renal failure. It mentions that the diseases are classified as the name hemolytic uremic syndromes (HUS).
