- Abstract
This article presents a case study of a 68-year-old male patient who experienced two immune-related adverse events, hypertrophic lichenoid dermatitis (HLD) and bullous pemphigoid (BP), after receiving Pembrolizumab treatment for urinary bladder cancer. The patient initially had thick, itchy lesions on his extremities, which were diagnosed as drug-induced lichenoid dermatitis. Later, he developed severe itching, rashes, and blisters, leading to a diagnosis of BP. The patient responded well to treatment with steroids. The article discusses the management of these adverse events and explores potential mechanisms behind their development. It also emphasizes the importance of obtaining appropriate patient consent and declares no conflicts of interest.
