- Abstract
In article number 2002737 Denis Y. W. Yu, Yanwu Zhu, Wenjun Zhang and co‐workers discuss the continuous electrolyte decomposition of common carbonate‐based electrolytes, which accelerates the capacity decay of Na2/3Ni1/3Mn2/3O2. It is shown that a fluoroethylene carbonate electrolyte can suppress the successive electrolyte decomposition, thus enabling significantly improved cycle stability for Na2/3Ni1/3Mn2/3O2. Such work provides new solutions to develop low cost and durable sodium‐ion batteries for grid‐scale applications.
