- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 45-year-old female, right-hand-dominant nurse who was accidentally autoinjected with a 0.3 milligram (mg) epinephirine autoinjector on her right index finger's base. It says that the patient was treated with three consecutive 0.5 mg phentolamine hypodermic injections on the digit base at 20-minute interval. It mentions that after 12 hours of post-treatment, the digit was pink with capillary refill time and normal sensation.
