- Abstract
The author discusses a study published within the issue which described an outbreak of acute toxoplasmosis in nine men who participated in a weekend retreat with barbecue. Topics include the seroprevalence of toxoplasmosis in the U.S. among white-tailed deer, clinical symptoms and laboratory signs which were different from those previously described in toxoplasmosis, and the seroprevalance of toxoplasma antibodies in humans in the U.S.
