- Abstract
The article focuses on a research by Scott Lowe and colleagues which addresses the problem on identifying oncogenes in cancer genetic screen by integrating cancer genomics and RNAi in a mouse model. The researcher has described a new approach that screens the mouse using RNAi Library which enables rapid screening of potential tumour suppressor genes because the short hairpin RNAs (shRNAs) can be introduced in the liver cell. They identified and validated 12 genes that are linked with cancer.
