- Abstract
Normal and tangential stresses along the surface and thickness of the plate are determined during unsteady heating on the basis of a numerical solution in the Ansys finite element analysis environment for real initial data. It is shown that the normal stressesσx σz on the heated surface of the slab are unevenly distributed in its central region and along the edges, and the shear stresses practically equal zero. The carried out experimental studies show a satisfactory agreement between the obtained numerical and experimental results. The mechanical characteristics, obtained as a result of the experiment, are used for numerical calculations. The Ansys finite element method used in this work allows to determine the stresses in the regions of the plate that are far from its center, where the analytical solution is not valid. The calculation results are represented.
