- Abstract
The article is a response to a commentary on a previous study about the public health and economic impact of a potential vaccine for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in older adults. The authors clarify that their study was a modeling study, not a cost-effectiveness analysis, and they did not estimate an acceptable vaccine price. They discuss the importance of understanding the impact of RSV vaccine introduction and compare their results with other modeling studies. The authors address some concerns raised by the commentator, including data usage, age stratification, and the need for further research and partnerships. They also disclose conflicts of interest.
