- Abstract
The article presents a pilot study which investigates the potential occurrence of oxytetracycline and ceftiofur in oral fluids after intramuscular injection (IM) using competitive enzyme-linked-immunosorbent serologic assay (ELISA) test for swine. It states the use of SNAP test from IDEXX Laboratories Inc. in antibiotic levels and infectious agent detection of swine. It presents the study's limitations on the antibiotic degradation and the pen spaces contributing to animal contacts.
