Topics discussed include the influenza A H7N9 virus RNA segments acquired from influenza A H9N2 virus, genetic difference between the reemerged influenza A H7N9 viruses from the first cases of viruses and a suggestion of rapid and continued reassortment with circulating H9N2 virus subtype in the reemerged virus.
