- Abstract
The article discusses a research which aims to analyze improvement in mortality rates for adolescents and children related to cardiovascular system and infections between 1990 and 2010. It is mentioned that retrospective cohort study of patients was performed which were treated with dialysis for end-stage kidney disease (EKSD). Also hazard ratios were estimated using Cox proportional hazard models. Decrease in the mortality in the U.S. children based on the medical statistics is discussed with need of further research.
