Estudo sobre 38 casos de colecistectomia videolaparoscópica realizadas na clínica veterinária Pronto Socorro Veterinário de Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brasil.

- Abstract
De agosto de 2020 a setembro de 2023 foram realizadas 38 colecistectomias por videolaparoscopia na clínica veterinária Pronto Socorro Veterinário (PSV) de Uberlândia, MG. Foram 37 (97,4%) cães e 1 (2,6%) gato. Foram 16 (42,1%) machos e 22 (57,9%) fêmeas. A raça mais operada foi o Schnauzer com 12 (31,58%) indivíduos. Em 3 (7,89%) casos houve extravasamento biliar durante a realização da cirurgia. Em dois (5,2%) casos foi necessária a conversão para cirurgia aberta, sendo um por extravasamento no ducto comum e outro por obstrução do ducto colédoco. Desses pacientes 26 (68,4%), ficaram internados por até 12 horas de pós-operatório, 11 (28,9%) ficaram internados por até 24 horas e um (2,6%) ficou internado por cinco dias. Um (2,6%) evoluiu a óbito no quinto dia de internação por eutanásia na mesa durante reintervenção cirúrgica em decorrência de complicações de necrose do ducto biliar comum. Essa análise mostra que a colecistectomia videolaparoscópica é um procedimento com poucas complicações, onde 68% dos animais permanecem menos de 12 horas em internação pós-cirúrgica. O único óbito foi em um paciente com mucocele com reação inflamatória importante que culminou com necrose e ruptura do ducto biliar comum. Dessa forma conclui-se que a colecistectomia videolaparoscópica é segura e com baixa morbidade e mortalidade pós-operatória.
