- Authors
Branson, Richard D.
- Abstract
The author comments on a study published within the issue which described the testing of over-the-counter (OTC) portable oxygen concentrators (POC) versus an oxygen cylinder and a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared POC used for long-term oxygen therapy (LTOT). Topics covered include the clinical implications of findings for patients and respiratory therapists, and the role of clinicians against deceptive advertising practices for POC.
