- Abstract
The article discusses results of a study that investigates the biological macromolecule diffusion in hollow chitosan fibers. A description of the test on hollow chitosan fibers is given, including permeant solution immersion and water circulation. The study showed that diffusion through the membrane is the limiting step to film diffusion. The decreasing order of the impact of hydrogen ion (pH) on the permeability coefficient is discussed.
