- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which prepared a hydroxyapatite (HA)/poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) composite fibers that have high processibility applicable to various biomedical fields. HA/PVA composite powders were synthesized via coprecipitation method, and was then mixed with pure PVA in dimethyl sulfoxide. Study authors found that adding adequate HA in the PVA fibers improved the thermal and mechanical properties of the fibers.
