- Abstract
The article discusses the case of a 52-year-old Caucasian female diagnosed with nummular headache (NH), a primary disorder characterized by chronic pain that is felt exclusively over a restricted area of the head's surface. The painful areas were linked with hair loss and red skin discoloration. Results of neurological examination and brain magnetic resonance imaging were normal. The possible etiology of NH is explored.
