- Abstract
The article focuses on global health crisis related to the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa and need for controlling virus along with the protection of healthcare workers (HCWs). Topics discussed include spread of nosocomial disease despite the adoption of several infection control procedures by HCWs such as barrier nursing, patient isolation, and personal protective equipment, spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in 2003, and implementation of traffic control bundling (TCB).
