- Authors
Fantin, Bruno
- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the study about the use of reduced antibiotic pressure on the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He states that the study was not able to answer whether each treatment arm had sufficient antibacterial spectrum. He notes the impossibility of fluoroquinolone to treat COPD because there has been no research that revealed the increase of its clinical significance.
