- Title
Levels of Evidence in the Urology Literature.
- Authors
Scales Jr., Charles D.
- Abstract
The author comments on the lack of high level evidence in urology journals. He says that the high levels of evidence makes the urologists perform the most appropriate treatment to their patients. The author claims further that the demand for high levels of evidence by patients and practitioners enables urologists to maintain their leadership role in the treatment of genitourinary diseases. He also mentions that the momentum towards the goal of raising the level of evidence is increasing.
