- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of social media to gather gang-related information by law enforcement in the U.S. in 2014. Topics include the increased use of the Internet by gangs or those in crime organizations, the reporting of illegal activity to network administrators, and the U.S. National Security Agency's (NSA) PRISM (Planning Tool for Resource Integration, Synchronization, and Management) monitoring software. Information is provided on Fourth Amendment jurisprudence.
