- Abstract
An interview with Nicky Clayton, a biologist and psychologist who studies the behaviour of birds, is presented. When asked about the reason in celebrating evolution through dance, she refers on distilling the ideas of Charles Darwin to inspire movement. Clayton explains the way dancers from Rambert Dance Co. respond to Darwin's evolutionary ideas. She cites on the male blue manakin as one of the birds that inspires her the most.
