- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 43-year-old moyamoya disease patient who developed re-emergent action tremors after lenticular nucleus infarctions. The patient did not notice rest tremor while walking and counting backward from 100, but a tremor of the right fingers developed after stretching out his arms. The authors conclude that the neuronal mechanisms involved in emergent tremor genereration can be functionally independent from those that produce resting tremor.
