- Abstract
This article, titled "Inhomogeneity of Cleaved Bulk MoS2 and Compensation of Its Charge Imbalances by Room-Temperature Hydrogen Treatment," explores the surface properties of cleaved bulk MoS2 crystals and the effects of room temperature hydrogen treatment on these properties. The authors demonstrate that the binding energies and band bending of the crystal's surface vary spatially and over time. However, they found that exposing the crystal to atomic hydrogen at room temperature resulted in a more homogenized and stable surface. This research provides valuable insights into the behavior of MoS2 crystals and their potential applications in various fields.
