- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 54-year-old male who suffered from Cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis following an intravitreal injection of dexamethasone implant. He had medical history which revealed that he had arterial hypertension and mild hyperhomocysteinaemia associated with a homozygous methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase gene mutation.
