- Abstract
Minimally invasive access has become standard for many surgical procedures. With recent innovations in medical engineering, the clinical practice of simulation surgery using high-resolution, multi-dimensional images can be helpful for planning procedures and training surgeons. Navigation surgery using augmented reality can display images of target organs and their complex surroundings into the actual operating field to improve visual comprehension and to make the surgery safer[7].
