- Abstract
This article discusses research on the impact of the cyclone Aila on the health of people in West Bengal, India. The research used three instruments: the socio-economic status scale, rural (SES-rural), the trauma symptom checklist-40-item scale (TSC-40) and the clinician-administered dissociative states scale (CADSS). It showed an increase in psychological symptoms among the people following the disaster, including trauma-related memories.
