- Abstract
The article presents a unified, open-source nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) exchange format (NEF) for NMR restraints and associated data. NMR restraint data are deposited in a variety of software-specific formats that have to be curated by the Biological Magnetic Resonance Bank (BMRB). Also discussed are the consultations and workshops organized by the Worldwide Protein Data Bank and the Collaborative Computing Project for NMR to attain a unified approach to represent NMR data.
