- Abstract
The article focuses on the Mycobacterium species in relation to Rv3377c and Rv3378c genes that are found in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It mentions that Rv3377c-encoded enzyme has been created from tuberculosinol 2 (5(6), 13(14)-halimadiene-15-ol), 13R-5a and 12S-isotuberculosinol 5b (5(6), 14(15)-halimadiene-13-ol). Also discussed is concerning enzymatic mechanism, optimal catalytic conditions and kinetic parameters.
