- Abstract
The article presents a study on the electroporation method for the transformation of yeast Zygosaccharomyces rouxii. It says that the cells were frozen at 80° C while the glycerol has been added to the electroporation buffer. The study utilizes polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis and auxotrophic phenotype tests. The results provide an improved electroporation to achieve transformation efficiency needed in functional gene analysis.
