- Abstract
The elastic aftereffect and stress relaxation are studied after testing for stamping capacity of sheet stable and metastable corrosion-resistant steels of different structural classes. The dependence of steel mechanical behavior, residual stress distribution on their strength level, the possibility of implementing phase transformations under load and the sequence (chronology) of alternating-sign loading is demonstrated. A mathematical model is developed for testing sheet steels taking account of the occurrence of phase transformations under load and stress relaxation during testing.
