- Title
AUTOMATIC OGIVE SCORING RULES FOR THE SHORT FORM OF THE SENTENCE COMPLETION TEST OF EGO DEVELOPMENT.
- Authors
Picano, James J.
- Abstract
This article presents a study related to automatic ogive scoring rules for the short form of the sentence completion test (SCT) of ego development. These short forms of the SCT may be more appropriate alternative measures of ego development because they provide a rapid and convenient method of assessing level of ego development in survey research or large-scale clinical studies while retaining original methodology and scoring system. The automatic ogive scoring rules developed for assigning a Total Protocol Rating of ego development from the 12-stem short form of the SCT provide a reliable estimate of level of ego development as assessed by the 36-stem SCT.
