- Abstract
Primary Care is figured as the preferential gateway for the Unified Health System. In it the operating groups arise as a good application to allow the population to have access to it, improving user's quality of life, as well as giving the opportunity in the performance of physiotherapy, in the context of preventing grievances or complications, and from rehabilitation, developed through multiprofessional activities. The aim is to report the experience of implementing an operating group called Posture School, in the Alto do Céu Integrado Family Health Unit, in Mandacaru, João Pessoa, State of Paraíba, Brazil. It is a qualitative-descriptive study from an experience report. Thirteen meetings from Posture School Group were held, using a problematization method and popular education in health. The experience allowed developing the work in a Primary Care context, the accessibility of users to the service and the strengthening of primary cares from the proposition of preventive and rehabilitative actions focused in physiotherapy actions, besides increasing the potential of popular education in health. As difficulties from this experience, we highlight: the commitment of the staff with the agenda and the expanded nucleus of family and Primary Care.
