- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 20-year-old man who was taken to the emergency room because of breathlessness and chest pain. It reveals that he has no history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, or coronary heart disease. It was noted that the patient's blood pressure reached 120/80 mmHg. It discusses the atrioventricular block (AVB), which is considered a conduction delay from the atrium to the ventricle or a result of conduction abnormality in the atrium.
