- Abstract
The article presents a study that examined the quality of dental restorative care in a large population of school children using a four-point scale. One of the most pressing emotional issues in dentistry is quality control in conjunction with a dental caries research project for fourth grade Caucasian children in a large midwestern city, each child presenting evidence of restorative care during an oral examination was measured for quality. A four-point scale was devised in which individual restorations were considered as part of all work present in the mouth.
